Birthday Girl!

To celebrate my birthday Jason took me to Cheesecake Factory – one of our FAVORITES. Dinner was magnificent, but seriously – dessert is why we go. Haha! We are on a quest to try all of the cheesecakes, and are well on our way. We have found out that a piece of cheesecake is the same price as a movie ticket, so we’ve decided we would rather rent a movie for a dollar, and enjoy Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake from the comfort of our own home. Ahhh, the perfect date.
Okay, back to the birthday. My first birthday as a married lady was fabulous! We celebrated for DAYS! The weekend before we went to Belton, and Judy baked a wonderful coconut cake! It was fun hanging out with Judy, Don and Erin.
Mom and Dad gave us tickets to “Fiddler on the Roof” at Bass Hall, so Tuesday night 3/9 Jason and I got all gussied up and went downtown Ft. Worth. We had planned to go out to dinner, but we both had busy days at work (I subbed all day), and I just wasn’t feeling up to it. So Jason ordered and picked up Carrabas, and we had a nice relaxing Italian dinner at home.
Bass Hall was wonderful, as always, and the play was great! It brought back so many memories of performing “Fiddler” in 11 grade at good ol’ TPHS. Harvey Fierstein was a great Tevye, if not a bit sarcastic. It was fun to get dressed up and have a night out on the town! Thanks Mom and Dad! And my sweet husband for a wonderful birthday!
